Does your dog roll? I know, stupid question BUT rolling is a natural instinct for dogs (yes, even in fox poo..charming!). Their highly developed instincts are predominantly scent driven and their complex and pretty impressive noses are machines!
In fact, if you watch your dog closely they often undertake a process known in the dog world as ' self selection'. Watch them..How often do you see your dog aim for the same spot to wee? How often do you see your dog aim for a specific patch of grass or vegetation to chew on? How often do you see your dog aim for a patch to roll on or 'crawl' on or just sniff? watch them you'll be surprised!
